Kage Kaisen Revival!

January 19th 2010, 6:45 pm by Kensei

To all our members,

I (Kensei), have decided to renovate the site, which has remained dead since our head Administrator, Baraku, went absent. There will be a new set of rules, a new skin, new profile formats...

Basically, we're starting the site over.

But don't be alarmed. For those of you who choose to return, you will not have to rewrite your application, or change it to the present system. Your applications are still there, resting in the Filing Cabinet -- feel free and ask the Staff to repost it if it has already been approved, or ask them to read over the application and approve it, then move it to the Approved sub-boards.

If you do not wish to roleplay on the site any longer, or the renovation does not appeal to you, all you have to do is tell the Staff in a PM ; your account will be removed without any questions.

We apologize for any inconveniences, and thank you all for your patience and cooperation.

Your loving (new) head Admin,

French body 'may be Lincolnshire fraud suspect'

A Lincolnshire man who has been on the run for more than 25 years is believed to have been found dead in France.

Robert Stapleton, 67, is wanted in connection with a 5m fraud, with Irish and UK warrants for his arrest.

Lincolnshire Police said he was wanted over allegations of fraud relating to companies he controlled.

Mr Stapleton was arrested on a European arrest warrant in Ireland in 2005 but failed to surrender to extradition and disappeared.

It is believed his body was found in Montfort-sur-Meu near Rennes in Brittany around 22 May.
Fled the country

It is understood his death is not being treated as suspicious.

The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs have been contacted about the death by the French authorities, who are working on the assumption that the dead man is Mr Stapleton, based on the documentation found on the body.

No formal identification has taken place.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said they were aware a body had been found in France which may be Mr Stapleton, but were awaiting confirmation of formal identification.

Mr Stapleton, who lived near Boothby Graffoe in Lincolnshire, operated a double glazing business in Lincolnshire in the late 1970s.

He fled the country in 1985 after having moved into other ventures including building squash courts and gyms.
