Kage Kaisen Revival!

January 19th 2010, 6:45 pm by Kensei

.SITE RENOVATION.

To all our members,

I (Kensei), have decided to renovate the site, which has remained dead since our head Administrator, Baraku, went absent. There will be a new set of rules, a new skin, new profile formats...

Basically, we're starting the site over.

But don't be alarmed. For those of you who choose to return, you will not have to rewrite your application, or change it to the present system. Your applications are still there, resting in the Filing Cabinet -- feel free and ask the Staff to repost it if it has already been approved, or ask them to read over the application and approve it, then move it to the Approved sub-boards.

If you do not wish to roleplay on the site any longer, or the renovation does not appeal to you, all you have to do is tell the Staff in a PM ; your account will be removed without any questions.

We apologize for any inconveniences, and thank you all for your patience and cooperation.

Your loving (new) head Admin,
Kensei

nagareboshi Empty nagareboshi

Post by MitchMorphine April 1st 2009, 2:06 pm

Name: nagareboshi ( shooting star )

Race: shinigami

Power Level: Any ( though highly ineffective the lower rank you are. Must be trained by katsu in order to perform )

Effect: This technique is of pure spiritual force that gains its power and its name from the process of magnifying and condensing raw spiritual force into the smallest space possible in order to give it explosive power.
similar to a star going "super nova"
if approved ill be able to condense anywhere from 1-30 percent of my maximum reiatsu into the size of a marble at either my palms or tips of either of my forefingers and fire them off at high speed.

Drawbacks: the user loses the same amount of spiritual force he used in the attack.

Seems like really really compressed/focused shunko. Surprised. I like it.

What's with the inflection in the drawback. I don't understand how you'd get that spiritual energy back that is. Unless it is somewhere between only 1 to 7 percent of your power that is used in Nagareboshi.

"Moshi atashi ga, houkiboshi ni nareta naraba
kitto soba ni ite ageru, donna toki mo"
....

Oh wait that's houkiboshi not nagareboshi. XD

Shunko = Flash Cry. Shunko's qualities includes compression of spiritual energy. Combined with hakuda it releases highly compressed blasts of spiritual energy. Which is why I was saying that the way the technique used was similar to Flash Cry.

That's fine. It is a huge draw back. The precentage used in the attack counts as the proportional amount of all of your power as a whole. But its sort of fair. Otherwise what makes it different from any other kido cannon type attack.

true its a huge drawback but i think its fair considering how powerful im intending this technique to be.
its hyper condensed form allows it to rip apart all the the most extreme barriers and defenses and at full power the explosion is can "vaporize" for a lack of a better everything in a half mile radius.

although a full powered, is rare and seldom used.

Well depending on your level with casting high level kido combined with a percentage of your overall strength. I think as captain who would be proficient at kido it might be anywhere from 30% or lower. Of course maybe to break 81 it might be higher.
