Looks: Erin is of slender build and has wild hair that seems to go in every direction. (See picture) While walking, Erin will often have her zanpaktou in its shikai and resting across her shoulders, usually holding it with one or both arms.

Personality: Cruel and efficient, Erin is not one for words. She is however a strategist and will assess even the most minor of situations. She is a very patient person and can wait as long as need be to gain an opportunity. Calm under any situation, Erin is not one to fly off the handle.

Likes: Outwitting her opponents, making sure division members can think on their feet.

Dislikes: Inability to form a plan, impatience, crowded places and noise.

Crushes: Confidence, intelligence, patience.

History: Erin’s spiritual abilities were slow to manifest in Soul Society. For two years she never even felt hunger as a spirit. In this time period she had noticed others feel hunger and knew what that meant. Like many wayward spirits in Soul Society, Erin had a family of unrelated people.

Due to the slow development of her abilities, Erin remained at the Shinigami academy for some time before graduating. Receiving her lowest marks in kido, it was doubtful she would ever become a great Shinigami. However, what she lacked in this area she more than made up for in tactics. She would read the battlefield and her opponents like a book, discovering their weaknesses and exploiting them.

In the thirteen protection squads, Erin was mostly unnoticed. It would take much later before she was recognized. Although highly intelligent in battle, her tactics were not the reason she became known as a powerful individual. Her true power lies in her zanpaktou, Dokomo (meaning: everywhere). Its shikai alone was enough to help her increase steadily in rank, allowing her to be as deadly as her mind was sharp. By the time she achieved bankai, many of the captains had disappeared from Soul Society, from a variety of reasons.

As of this day, Erin is the captain of the 13th division of the thirteen protection squads. The specialty of this squad is in Hollow Extermination and Erin refuses to believe that the shinigami may lose the war against them.

Looking over the battlefield, Erin tried to track the enemy’s movements. It was only a single hollow, but no one was able to follow it. The only logical option was that it was a teleporter, and a fast one at that. The beast had been preying on the citizens of Soul Society for some time now and it was time to put it down. “Have you located it yet?” Erin’s voice was focused as she looked out over the latest scene of carnage. Another shinigami was leaning over the ground, looking at a circle of light that letters and numbers rolled across rapidly. “Yes ma’am!” Erin glanced quickly at the light and spoke a single word. “Bankai.” With the word, the zanpaktou Dokomo began to lengthen and it’s business end began to change shape. In only a moment the weapon became twice as long as the captain was tall.

She knew where her target was, but did not even turn to face it. Putting both hands on the giant halberd, Erin thrust it forward. The weapon tip then suddenly vanished as it moved forward, leaving Erin holding only a long pole. Only an instant later an eruption of dust and snapping branches sounded from behind them. Pulling back on her weapon, the head soon reappeared. “Let’s head back home.”
