Garganta (black cavity)- It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway. Cero (hollow flash) - are high-powered energy blasts that can be fired from various body parts, such as the mouth, tongue, hand or fingers. Second Definition: An extremely destructive technique that shows up in many high level hollow, and all arrancar. Raw destructive spirit power is shot out almost instantly in a colored beam that consumes and incinerates everything it touches.

Negación (counter-membrane) - fields are used to rescue fellow hollows. Only the gillian-class menos have shown the ability to use it. Negación fields surround a target in a square beam of light that isolates the target from the dimension they are currently in, making it impossible to harm them. The field then pulls the target towards the menos that created the field

Caja Negación(Spanish for Negation Box) - Espada have a special cube-shaped device called Caja Negación meant to simulate negación fields, which are used to punish their subordinates if necessary. The cube, when used on a subject, traps them in an alternate dimension from which there is no escape; however, this assumes it's being used as intended. More powerful arrancar, namely the Espada themselves, can escape given enough time.

Hierro (steel skin) - refers to the hardened skin of the hollow, which is a result of their compressed spiritual power. Second Definiton: More of a trait, then a technique, of many high level arrancar..where due to the nature and power of the person..spirit level saturates the skin, making it extremely difficult to pierce.

Bala(hollow bullet) - Is an Arrancar alternative to Cero. The technique hardens the user's spiritual pressure and fires like a bullet. Though weaker than a cero blast, it moves twenty times faster and can be fired at a much higher rate. Second Definiton: A sort of run off technique of Cero, where instead of creating a monsterous and slow beam, it forms into a small ball that fires off at extremely incredible speeds. It sacrifices power for speed, and becomes nearly impossible to evade, or block.

Sonido (resounding revolution) - It allows the user to travel at incredibly high speeds for short distances. Second Definition: The arrancar equivalent of the shinigami shunpô or Quincy hirenkyaku; it allows the user to travel at incredibly high speeds.

Gran Ray Cero(Royal Hollow Flash) - An immensely powerful cero reserved for only the most powerful of the hollow. Second Definition: An upgraded cero, that takes on the color of the spirit aura the user displays. A surge of colored energy develops from his hand or body parts..and shoots out into a MASSIVE blast of energy, almost double the size of its predecessar..and twice as destructive.

Geppou: A technique in which the user actually jumps off the air itself by concentrating reiatsu under their feet, allowing them to stay in the air for much longer than usual. The users are able to cross great distances without ever touching the ground, or to utilize to for swift aerial attacks.

Rankyaku: A reiatsu based projectile technique in which the user kicks out at very high speeds and strength while concentrating corrosive hollow reiatsu into the blow, sending out a sharp "air blade" that can slice objects and greatly damage any who are struck by it, there are many possible variations of this that can be made by the user.

Resurrección (Spanish for "resurrection"): An Arrancar Releases their Zanpaktou and retains their old Hollow Abilities and characteristics. This is known as their true form and greatly increases their power. Second Definition: They can perform one level of release but when they do so, the effect is completely different than a shinigami's release. When they release, it doesn't transform the sword into a more powerful weapon; rather, it unseals an arrancar's true power and becomes an armour-like enhancement to the arrancar's body. Therefore, it is implied that an arrancar's zanpakutō is not a living being like a shinigami's. Once released, an arrancar increases their power by a tremendous amount. Some arrancar also grow to huge statures, although some remain the same size. It is believed that arrancar do not have a second release since their base form already rivals a shinigami's shikai, and their first release rivals a shinigami's bankai.

Regeneration: High-Level Hollows (Menos Grande and above) can automatically regenerate their wounds and damage over time. The stronger the Hollow the faster the regeneration speed.

Gonzui (魂吸, lit. "soul suck") is a technique used by Yammy to absorb the souls from a large number of living people over a very wide area. It is only effective on people with low spiritual power.
