Hollow Mask,
Miyuka’s hollow mask is thin and has no horns; the mask is split in the middle in a yin-yang fashion, it also has three stripes on top and it has a circle in the middle of two stripes in the chin. HOLLOW MASK IMAGE (made it myself ;P)

Physical Appearance
Miyuka is 6’2”and has dark tanned skin, he has long grey hair that reaches his shoulders and he always has a wide mischievous grin on his face. He wears a dark t-shirt which fits tightly against muscular body (not overly muscular, mind you), blue jeans, black gloves and sneakers. He likes to use sunglasses that cover his grey eyes, also he has a tattoo on the right side of his neck with 11 written on it and another tribal tattoo that reaches from the left side of his neck to the palm of his hand.(Think Jim Carrey’s tattoo on the “number 23”), he carries his zanpaktou on th left side of his hip.

Personality
Miyuka has a witty personality which enjoys making jokes and thinking positive, he likes to fight and is very protective of the things he holds dear. He doesn’t take crap from anyone and likes to be respected, whoever messes with his pride will take the full force of his rage but he is also quick to forgive so it all sorts out rather well. He likes the thrill of the fight like his role model Kenpachi but he doesn’t like unnecessary bloodshed or the feeling of taking a person’s life yet he would quickly dispatch those emotions for the sake of the mission or for protecting someone.

Miyuka decided to become a Shinigami when he was saved by Kenpachi on a Hollow attack that occurred on Soul Society, the wicked smile and the happiness that Kenpachi felt as he fought would forever be engraved in Miyuka’s mind. Miyuka learnt quickly and was able to pass quickly before he was appointed a place in the 11th division serving under Kenpachi’s guidance, Miyuka and Kenpachi had a teacher-student relationship that grew closer each year until Miyuka could hold a fair fight with Kenpachi without his eye-patch on but he could never beat him. One day the division was sent on a mission to find out about the disappearance that had been occurring on Soul Society in which normal souls and shinigami were involved, it appeared that their clothes had been the only thing left behind and some people were murmuring about something that had occurred sometime ago yet Miyuka knew nothing of it. They were ambushed by some high level hollows that cut down most of the team killing everyone except for Kenpachi and Miyuka, after their unsuccessful mission Kenpachi was discharged from his Captain status since he was not considered mentally well after the death of his lieutenant Yashiru had affected him so much that he never took arms again. Miyuka was promoted to Captain of the 11th Division which he led successfully for a few years until the disappearances began yet again. This time he took a full team to take out all hollows that stood in their way and finally discover the source of the disappearances.

The team he led was overrun by Hollows yet they fought them expertly until there were none standing, when they reached the gate that gave way to a hidden lab and from it a single weird looking hollow appeared which attacked the nearest member of the division before we took him down with little fight. The division member screamed as some white substance appeared from his mouth and covered him turning him into a hollow, the division was surprised by this and some members were lost who in turn turned into other hollows until there was none left but Miyuka, it pained Miyuka to cut down so many of his men yet in the end they were all defeated by Miyuka’s might. He fell to the ground almost lifelessly before he felt a weird sensation inside of him, his body was burning form the inside out as if his very reiatsu was going to eat him from the inside before he vomited the white substance which covered his face slowly. He could no longer see anything or hear anything yet the hunger was so insatiable and he had a desire to fill the hole that was forming inside of him that he could no longer restrain himself, he began to look for a way to eat and fill that hole yet he found none. Suddenly he heard a scream and he began to fight the urge hoping that by sheer will power alone he could fill the void that was forming inside of him until he saw a light, the light took him into a vast open field that bore no trees and was completely flat; in front of him he saw himself yet he was completely different, his hair was black and he was as pale as a sheet of paper and in his hand he held Miyuka’s Zanpaktou except it was completely black.

They fought for what seemed years and years yet it had all happened in an instant, Miyuka’s clone was as good as Miyuka himself yet it was not cool-headed and rushed blindly into battle using sheer force to over-power Miyuka much like Kenpachi yet in the end he was cut down by Miyuka’s blade leaving behind only air as Miyuka returned to the real world as he sat on top of a small crying child in the poor district of the Soul Society. Shinigami’s began to appear surrounding him before he raised his hands up in the air, What the hell happened to me asked Miyuka before he was taken to before the division captains and was exiled from ever returning to Soul Society yet he was just glad to had been left alive yet the power he now felt hidden inside of him was very dark yet also tempting and he tried to find a way to release it and that’s how he learned to control his hollow form which gave him an exponential increase in strength and speed yet he felt alone in this human world and he knew now that he had to find other’s like him.

Miyuka then found what seemed to be a group of "Vaizards" which was what people like Miyuka were called being led by a man named Kensei. This man led their ranks swiftly and efficiently yet the numbers of Vaizards was not enough to pose a dramatic threat on soul society, they had all been shunned and exiled from their former lives and thus everyone felt resentment towards the shinigami yet not Miyuka. Miyuka was shunned yes but his life was spared maybe because of his former services rendered for the glory of soul society or perhaps they were afraid of him still the outcome was the same. Miyuka began as a lowly Vaizard who had trouble controlling his mask and the hollow form that so patiently waited inside of him to slip into temptation yet he remained strong. Training granted him the ability to fully control his mask which gave him tremendous strength yet sometimes he lost himself and his hollow form took over yet still Miyuka showed promise and thus he became an "Elite Vaizard" or a Vaizard who had fully mastered his mask form.

Kensei had become like a mentor to him although their personalities were so different he held high respect for the man's abilities and he always trained so he could be able to at least fight equally with him yet the gap was very wide. One day when Miyuka had lost his cool-headedness while fighting him due to the frustration he felt his hollow form took over and if not for Kensei maybe the destruction would have spilled out of the underground plateau and into the human world. This incident made Miyuka ponder for a while about his self, he was stronger yet not strong enough to control his impulses so he decided than instead of trying to equal or even beat Kensei he had to first beat himself. He had fought against his hollow form once before, remembering with a shudder the pale creature that looked so much like him, yet he had only beaten it but now he had to subjugate him to his will. Miyuka began meditating until he entered a dream-like state in which the endless plain had transformed into a warehouse much like the usual meeting placer of the Vaizards. There in the middle stood Miyuka’s hollow form waiting for him with zanpaktou in hand, their battle was long and hard since every time Miyuka did something the hollow quickly counter it, after all they were one and the same. Miyuka’s bankai was countered by the same bankai, the mask with another mask and it all seemed endless yet Miyuka understood then that this man could never be beaten by force since they were both equals. Miyuka then stopped in mid-air and the hollow took the chance to attack him and Miyuka took the blow head on just like Kenpachi, his former master, would have done. Not even a scratch was visible on Miyuka’s chest as he took the zanpaktou from the unbelieving hollow’s hands before he stabbed both of them on his chest. “You will listen to me, now” said Miyuka to the hollow as he began to dissolve before he replied, “For now” said the hollow with a smile as his voice echoed in the air.

Miyuka had beaten him truly and he could now unleash his full power without any fear of losing himself. Kensei acknowledged his power and gave him a new position called a “Knight Vaizard” in which his job was to lead a squad of Vaizards as well as to serve as one of Kensei’s bodyguards.

Miyuka had fulfilled his duty with honor, making sure that everything below Kensei stayed in order as well as fulfilling any secret missions that were commanded of him. He had become Kensei’s second-in-command yet for him Kensei had become a close friend, they were very different yet that only served to strengthen the respect he felt for his leader and that’s why Miyuka would never forgive himself. Kensei had told him of his plan to defeat Taishi, the lord of the espada, in Hueco Mundo yet he wished to go alone. Miyuka urged him to take him at least because he was his bodyguard and what use would he serve back in the human world if not protecting his master yet Kensei convinced him by saying that this would call for secrecy and stealth. If the two of them were to go to Hueco Mundo then they would surely be found out so Miyuka agreed to not follow him deciding to trust his master’s power. Kensei never came back, Miyuka waited for him yet he never came back. He reassured the Vizards that their leader would not fall so easily, yet now his confidence faltered; Miyuka had to admit the grim truth that their leader had fallen on the hands of Taishi and Miyuka thought that if he had accompanied him then maybe such a thing would not have happened. The vizards were losing morale rapidly, leaderless they would have surely teared each other apart if not for the fact that Miyuka was here to maintain order, they all feared and respected him yet not to the extent they did to Kensei and thus Miyuka decided he had to leave.

Miyuka left the vizards promising them that he would come back after a while; he needed to travel and think about what to do next. He was gone for almost a year before he came back, he had trained diligently trying to perfect his skills and expand his power trying to emulate Kensei’s path until he found his own and at last he had. He had grown powerful and confident, he no longer feared what would come next for he knew that he had the strength to change it and thus he decided to come back to his home. There he found that the number had diminished greatly in his absence and when he demanded some answers they answered that most were lost in battles against hollows and espada, it seemed that they on an impulse wanted to avenge master Kensei’s death yet they all perished. The numbers were small yet Miyuka decided that he would take Kensei’s place and lead the band of Vaizards into freedom just as Kensei would have wanted, the vaizards saw the change in Miyuka and they gladly accepted him as their new leader and shouted his glory out loud. He now carried the burden his master had and he would gladly fulfill the duty that was entrusted to him, he would protect the vaizards race and their way of life and there was nothing and no one that would deny him that.

Kenpachi was killed by one of my characters, Kenpachi Yuudai, who is now a Royal Guard.
