Duel no. 3 - Kyousuke vs Aroni

Kyousuke was dressed in a navy blue plain kimono, seeing that he was off-duty. He still had his Rakanaryuuzu attached to his waist, mainly because he was afraid someone might touch it in his absense but also because he had been told to go duel with a Vice-Captain. That Baraku must have a really good reason to ask me to do this without talking about payment first. He reached the area where the fight was to take place.

"The Gotei 13 is really falling apart, asking a lowly Vice-Captain to fight a full-fledged Captain...what is the world coming to?" Kyousuke played around with the candy in his mouth and scratched his clean-shaven chin. "I mean, if he wants to die, let him...but at least he should be on time."

Aroni Walked in to the area designated by the Captain Commander. He hoped this wouldn't take all day, it was his day off and as such he was playing cards. "Hello Kyousuke-san, sorry to keep you waiting. Shall we begin?" His hand slid to the hilt of da-ku emnu, Aroni might like to relax and play cards but he also likes a good match.

"You're right. We should get this over with, hmm?" A vein started twitching on Kyousuke's face, and his had went instinctively to his hilt. He wasn't going to get overboard right now, but the look on the Vice-Captain's face, spoiling the duel with a mere card game, was a little too much for him. Using Shunpo, he slid quickly behind the man, and then using his sword, he cut diagonally and horizontally, resulting in a series of cuts without him seeming to even flick a finger from his position. "No matter how strong you get, there's just no way that a Vice-Captain will win against a real one."

Captain Kyousuke was fast and Aroni barely had enough time to dodge and roll back to his feet. Aroni charged the captain, swing down from the right side while applying reiatsu to the blade to increase the velocity. The captain dodged and the blade collided with the ground sending dust everywhere. " I may only be a vice-captain, but I have trained with captain Seieichi to become stronger, all I wish is to show that."
